AS Collective collaborated with SV Design and Harborlight Homes to design an active playground and intimate outdoor amenity space for a new 62-unit affordable housing development in Lynn. Designed to serve individuals and families, the landscape program balances play and passive recreation while integrating thoughtfully into the surrounding urban fabric of this Transit-Oriented Development (TOD).

To maximize a narrow site footprint, the design features a 5-12 Y.O. play space with custom-selected equipment that sits naturally within the landscape rather than dominating it. Adjacent to the play zone, the site's linear character is embraced through a series of quiet reading nooks, small outdoor picnic areas, and intimate gathering spaces surrounded by native perimeter plantings. Designed to Enterprise Green Communities standards, the landscape creates an inclusive, cohesive community hub that connects residents to both nature and the broader Lynn neighborhood.
